Who is Paul Redman?
Paul Redman is our Vice President of Sales here at Contractor Commerce. Paul got his start in the home services industry after gaining an opportunity to work for Lennox International. Prior to this job, Paul had no idea of where he wanted his career to go other than wanting to have a career within some facet of the business world.
Paul loved the job and the HVAC industry, and after the 10-year mark of being in home services, he made the decision to dive deeper into the trades. Now, Paul is leading the sales and success team and spreading the word in the trades about the benefits of ecommerce here at Contractor Commerce!
What to Expect
In this episode, you will hear Paul talk about the massive gap in home services between what consumers expect vs. what they want in regard to their buying process. You’ll learn more about the mission & purpose behind Contractor Commerce and how Paul and the team plan to continue helping contractors find middle ground, take the service/product they sell, and meet the consumer wherever they are comfortable (not necessarily their kitchen table).
Throughout the show, you will hear some of the biggest misconceptions that contractors have when it comes to selling online. Paul also reveals some insight behind the price that contractors give consumers for a new system online.
Finally, you’ll learn about the quick and easy process to get a Contractor Commerce store set up on your website, the technical aspects needed, and even hear some contractor success stories!
The Future of Ecommerce in Home Services
Paul feels that there is a window of opportunity where early adopters have the opportunity to leverage the Contractor Commerce online store platform to differentiate from the competition and gain an advantage in the market. The goal is to give the customer what they want by becoming an online seller and an in-person seller at the same time.
Over the next 3-5 years, Paul sees the risk of tech companies (who are not contractors) grabbing consumer attention and market share, leaving contractors with some difficult decisions to make. Not only that, but Paul feels that once manufacturers put their toe in the water start selling online, we will see contractor margins start to decrease.
The time to start taking control of your own destiny and controlling your online customer acquisition strategy is now. With Contractor Commerce, there is a low barrier to entry and very high return on investment. Schedule a demo today at ContractorCommerce.com.
